  "description": "Sp\u00e4testens mit der Gr\u00fcndung einer Mastodon-Instanz durch Mozilla ist das Thema Professionalisierung im Fediverse in aller Munde, und mit Meta macht sich gerade ein weiterer gro\u00dfer Akteur mit viel Geld bereit, das Fediverse nach seinen Spielregeln zu beeinflussen.\r\nWeder der einzelne Admin dessen Mastodon-Server in der Abstellkammer steht, noch die erw\u00e4hnten gro\u00dfen Mitspieler mit ihren umz\u00e4unten G\u00e4rten sind dabei erstrebenswerte Entwicklungen.\r\nIn diesem Talk erl\u00e4utert padeluun wie die Gr\u00fcndung kleiner, flexibler und schlagkr\u00e4ftiger Firmen dazu f\u00fchren kann, die richtigen Impulse im Fediverse zu setzen, und zieht interessante Parallelen zu den Fehlentwicklungen der Mailbox- und BTX-Zeit in den achtziger Jahren.",

      "biography": "padeluun is one of the founding fathers of Digitalcourage. He experimented with public networked communication as early as the late 1980s. Together with Rena Tangens, he developed concepts on how communication can succeed - and failed grandly in front of the concentrated financial power of the \"internet corporations\", who were able to destroy communication with a lot of money, but clueless as they were (and still are today)  could not build anything useful. He is a member of the jury of the BigBrotherAwards, was a named expert of the \"Enqu\u00eate Commission Internet and digital Society of the 17th German Bundestag\" for three years and today throws himself into the Fediverse in a supportive way...",
