  "description": "META-TR\u00d8NIC, aka Kaarlo, co-founder of Rio Underground Records, is a Finnish/Brazilian DJ and producer, one of the remnants of the old school underground scene in Rio de Janeiro.\r\n\r\nHis passion for electronic music started in the mid90's when he met the DJ who\r\nbrought the techno culture from Germany to Rio. Through this opportunity, Kaarlo\r\ncontacted the techno temple from Copacabana, Bunker club, and got a job as a club\r\npromoter. This was the bridge to connect him to the electronic music business.\r\nIn a couple of years, his network allowed him to organize his own events and find\r\nhis fate becoming a DJ/Producer. In the early 2000s, dedicating over 8 hours/day\r\nto the practice of turntablism, his talent was recognized by the club, and he was invited to become a resident.\r\n\r\nHe consolidated his career, smashing dancefloors in countries as Argentina, Germany,\r\nFinland, Netherlands, and Brazil, playing on the hottest clubs and massive festivals,\r\nwhere the crowd felt the power of his beat. META-TR\u00d8NIC shared the stage with Christian\r\nSmith, Alex Bau, Christian Fischer, Monoroom, Stefano Noferini, PleasureKraft, DJHell,\r\namong others, and set the pulse in events like the Chemical Music Festival, held by Skol\r\nBeats (BR), and the acclaimed fashion event Rio Fashion Week.\r\nDuring the COVIDpandemic, engaging himself to keep the scene alive, he joined\r\nIsolA.M.E.nto Musical held by BlocoA.M.E. (RJ), which became the world's biggest live streaming electronic music festival.\r\n\r\nMETA-TR\u00d8NIC is a storyteller who will take you on a journey through the dark side of electronic music.",
